About this Artwork
I photographed a number of pieces of dollhouse furniture that I amused myself with as child and placed them into ordinary landscapes. As a child, our perceptions of “reality” are unshaped and twisted yet as we make our journey into adulthood we lose our desire for simulating life because we are in it. Dollhouse is my artistic example of how something that seemed so important and big at one time in your life is now completely insignificant.
