2012 was a big year. Politicians battled to win many important elections, new musicians dominated the radio waves, and hit TV series and movies engaged audiences around the world. History was remembered and history was made. We marked the 50 year anniversary of the death of Marilyn Monroe and cheered on modern legends as they took home gold at the Olympic Games. We landed on Mars shortly after saying goodbye to the first astronaut to walk the face of the moon. We survived an apocalypse, replaced vampires with zombies, and all learned how to dance “Gangnam Style”.
