Seascapes

At nine years old Steffi Louis began snapping pictures with a Kodak Instamatic 33; she hasn’t stopped taking photos since. Never outgrowing her creative passion, Steffi went on to earn a degree in architecture. After spending many years in the field she began working for an interior design company, where she currently finds herself today. In 2010 Steffi decided to publish her personal artworks, as well as to start her collection of sea abstract pieces, now titled “Seascapes - Architecture of the Sea”, which beautifully exemplifies the link between photography & building design. The project took several years, during which she traveled to many countries and to many coasts to find the perfect places to take photographs. Although her seascapes are edited digitally, the colors remain largely original to preserve the mood captured when the photographs were taken.
