About this Artwork
This inspiration of this image came from the mall next to my house in Dubai, the mall’s name is Ibn Battuta Mall. In this mall there was a Persian court. The Persian court has a very large dome that has a lot of painted patterns. The layered paintings on the dome can simply capture ones imagination and put him in the royal palaces of a Persian king. The cube like structures are basically part of the Arabian architecture that I have observed at Heritage village. These cube like structures were kind of a ventilation and air conditioning system for the ancient Arabs. I tried to get the flavour of the Arabian architecture into this image and their favourite Persian colours, gold, blue and black.
