      About this Artwork

Mountains from the air, from the land, mountains from where you stand. Water flows and steam rises, the mountains embrace the blue sky and leaves rivers as traces. From a collection of works before my exhibition in Taiwan. 2011 was a year that featured a new abstract freeform style in my journey as an artist. Using the forces of texture, gravity and coloured drama to new a few. My experience working with Da Xiang Gallery in Taichung was monumental in my career. At the time I was living in Brisbane amongst the Woolstores in the Cotton Co-operative building. Teneriffe is a beautiful inspiring place to live, I was fortunate to live on the river with a large studio with a lot of light and fresh air. An artists dream location.
