      About this Artwork

The clown, saddened by what he saw on the ground took to the sea. There, sickened by what he saw, threw it all down the rail and took back to the ground. He went on with sad jokes bringing joy to the sick. We engage in rituals and take disguises daily but when the occasion demands it and the opportunity arises, we let the other self take control. We connect with bigger forces or disconnect from our simpler I, we sin, atone, imagine higher and lower beings, touch god, become it. Whether is because of faith or lack of it, because we are purging our demons, seek amusement or want both attention and anonymity, we look to be others that do what our normal selves don’t; sometimes spiritually sometimes gleefully, sometimes ritually sometimes ritual-e.
