      About this Artwork

Many people think hares (jackrabbits are hares) and rabbits are the same. Hares have live birth with the leverets having open eyes and ability to run. They also live above ground. Rabbits give live birth, but the kits eyes are not open and they are helpless the first two-three weeks of life. Rabbits live in burrows in the wild. Created sketch and painted as an abstract/impressionist digital oil painting from one of my photos of a jackrabbit in Photoshop CC.
