“I wanted to represent the influence of cities on their environment as a kind of invisible fluid that overflows from the city to its surroundings,” says self-taught artist Chaotic Atmospheres (aka Istvan). He created these mesmerizing 3D city maps using World Machine, a program that simulates realistic terrain and erosion. Innovative and beautiful, the works of art appear to flow all on their own.
