About this Artwork
Now, as I'm sure you can tell from the title that the above is a shot taken of a Helter Skelter slide.
But the difference being that it isn't any old Helter Skelter, it's the first ever 'big ride' I went on as a child in Margate, Kent UK (for those of you from overseas).
My partner and I, paid a visit to Dreamland in Margate on a barmy Summers' day as so we could take the proverbial trip down memory lane. Upon walking around the grounds of the park one of the first rides I had set eyes was indeed that very same Helter Skelter I had such fun on as a Kid.
N.B. I took the liberty of breathing life back into this magnificent attraction by weaving in tons of colour and disjointed shapes to really magnify it's presence, I want for you to be able to imagine yourself queuing up to go on it and feel excited with anticipation.
