      About this Artwork

I took a picture of this giraffe (used as a reference for this painting) at Como Zoo in St.Paul, MN. She had a baby giraffe by her side and everyone was so intrigued by the little guy. I was able to take close snaps of this mama giraffe taking her time to chew and eat her food. Perhaps a bit relieved to have the attention taken off of her for now :) This was painted on Arches hot pressed paper with Daniel Smith watercolor paints.
