About this Artwork
I start by drawing straight lines. This predictable yet restrictive gesture is the building block of my aesthetic. While I use a variety of mediums and materials to construct my images, the methodology is consistent. The composition of lines is used to create geometric form. I am interested in how three-dimensional form functions on a two-dimensional plane. When conforming dimensions, discrepancies arise. With no objective boundary, representative geometric form can perform in impossible ways.
