About this Artwork
Playing for dinner is my digital drawing of a moment i was proud to capture, i sat drawing for days on and off to bring this to life. On a visit to a local tourist town i spotted this guy sat playing for money, it was a freezing cold day but it didn't seem to bother him, i couldn't believe almost five hours later after sightseeing with my partner that he was still there playing. I decided to approach him, praise his music and offer some money as his sheer determination was inspiring, he could have packed up hours before as it was so bitter, even his dog seemed just as patient. Sheer dedication and for me this is what art is all about, an inspirational moment that deserves to be captured for all time.
