About this Artwork
Mix Media Sculptures: 40 H x 35 W x 30 cm.
Sculptures made with recycled materials: papers, fibers, eggs, feathers and found objects.
I conceived a series of sculptures called “Urban Nests”, made with found objects that have being used, loved, hated and discarded for useless, after all their transit in our lives.
Varied forces of colors, textures, materials and layers, contribute together with their existence and history into my art.
The primary perspective evoked is “what objects really mean for ourselves on daily basics, how much we care about them, and how many of them we really need to our development and pleasure."
With "Urban Nests", I recreate "the sense of hegemony that human being is sharing with other species: Nests = Homes."
