      About this Artwork

'kathakali dancer'... Here I have tried to capture the face mostly, rest is left to ur imagination to connect the dots, the original art work is from an amazing Indian artist by name mitran… kathakali is an indigenous dance form of Kerala with richly arrayed attire and colorful pigments… The beauty of the artform is that the entire storyline has to be acted out only through ‘mudras’ and facial expressions. Facial expressions have a lot of emphasis in this dance form & over the years there are lot of interest to this art from across the world where foreigners come and apprentice themselves at Kalamandalam, which is supposed to be the hub for the best Kathakali teachers… artwork using Pencil & Paper (by 53) and drawn on ipad air 1
