Part of a set of 'WILD', a series of illustrations portraying Endangered Species. The basic concept was to portray the animals using very fragile and simple material. For that, I used watercolour on cardboard, which is a sturdy yet fragile canvas. After finished and completely dried, the paintings were partially washed out in order to emphasize the fading effect.
