      About this Artwork

Keys for the ocean was created for Andy Sorenson Musician to celebrate his album launch the same year. Underwater Breathing was a fantastic album and still is, look it up. This is an abstract of a piano floating upon the ocean. From a collection of works before my exhibition in Taiwan. 2011 was a year that featured a new abstract freeform style in my journey as an artist. Using the forces of texture, gravity and coloured drama to new a few. My experience working with Da Xiang Gallery in Taichung was monumental in my career. At the time I was living in Brisbane amongst the Woolstores in the Cotton Co-operative building. Teneriffe is a beautiful inspiring place to live, I was fortunate to live on the river with a large studio with a lot of light and fresh air. An artists dream location.
