      About this Artwork

Oil on wood. 38 × 46 cm (14.8″ × 18,1"). “Ludwig van Caathoven” (2014). There are many wonderful things I love in this world, and two of them are cats and the fabulous music of Ludwig van Beethoven. This colorful painting is a humble tribute dedicated to them. Inspired by little Mustaine — a close friend’s angora kitten — this work shows some of the most famous and iconic elements of the great German composer, as his piano, violin, the score of the Fifth Symphony, a view of Vienna at the window and a sheet with the words Unsterbliche Geliebte or Immortal Beloved on it, referring to a letter written between 6-7 July 1812 to a mysterious lover. All works are protected under copyright © law.
