      About this Artwork

Migrations is a series of photo collages in which air conditioners hanging off the sides of buildings in New York City are cut out and suspended on the sky immediately above the building at the time of photography. The layout of the machines is preserved, creating an echo of the original image in this new creation. The air conditioners assume a kind of alien-like flock appearance as they fly through the skies.
