      About this Artwork

I borrowed this title from book, written by amazing sci-fi author Samuel R. Delany. This is cluster of two stellar dendrite snowflakes: they falls together on my dark woolen backdrop, and all that i was needed is choosing right angle for my camera. Fortunately, this small cluster remain flat, and it fits in focus perfectly. I like thin and complex structure of these two snow crystals, and their difference in shape and size, as well. This small group was captured at dark grey woolen fabric in diffused light of grey winter sky, January 2014 in Moscow, Russia. 7 identical RAW photos was captured as fast series, and averaged to boost signal/noise ratio of this picture.
