About this Artwork
A print I recently submitted to the Percolator Lawrence art gallery for this year's Valentine's Day-themed "Love Show."
This is the fourth straight year I've submitted art to their February show, and this year I wanted to do an original piece that wasn't just characters from my comic. In the wake of everything that's happened this last year--the rise of populism, Trump, Brexit, the refugee crisis, generally the world today feeling more and more "every man for himself"--I wanted to do something positive and uplifting.
It feels like appropriate timing that I finished it on the same weekend as the Women's Marches.
