About this Artwork
Although I don’t know anyone doing this, it’s a way to represent so much of what’s happening in society. Starting in the 1990s, anyone who was transitioning from one gender to another via sex reassignment surgery was referred to as transsexual. Note that this art deco person has a male five o’clock (5:00) shadow, and the rest looks feminine.
