      About this Artwork

Hungry fish devouring floating seaweed Summer is here. Once again, I have been able to go on my long walks along the riverside. This is a moment that has always been dear to me when all alone I would stroll under the shade of the trees lining the riverbank with the waters flowing along beside me, I would contemplate on my new painting with all thought of the daily materialistic problems momentarily banished from my head. It was then at a bend in the river at a lonely clearance without any other movement to disturb the atmosphere of a pin drop silence there was a ripple in the water that attracted my attention. Looking closely, I could make out the form of a fish swimming in the clear water and that it was eating the floating green algae.
