Now I am just at the end of the painting. A line here, a point there, a shadow somewhere else. Then I have to look at it again, is it really finished? It is sometimes difficult when is the end of it because I am not one of these hyperrealistic painters, it is not a copy of a photograph, the photo has inspired me but there are less horses and riders and also the way is not there and the tree in front is not on the photo. Also the faces are not the same then on the photo. You see the couple in front, he is a happy guy all the time in good mood but she is the lady, just with the nose higher then the others. When I realised this, I asked myself, how can such a happy guy be with the woman? Also the woman on the black horse is younger then on the photo, she is happy with the situation and the horse. The man on the right of here is to big and too have for the horse but I think he is a good man, sometimes drinking a but too much… And his glasses are these who get darker when the sun is shining, I think you can see this. The riders had no luck, the fox is still there. Can you see him? One or two of the dogs try to find him still but all of them are also lucky that they are on the way home. Also the riders are not really sad that the could not catch the fox. They are happy that soon the will have something to drink and to eat and they can talk and laugh together. Another difficulty is where I should put my signature, there is not much space for it. In every painting there are such challenges, I hope you like this painting!
