About this Artwork
An offshoot of my exploration in vaporwave, mizu is a reflection of the all-consuming, shape-shifting spirit of capitalism. With no respect or regard to the origin and context of things, as seen in the form of nonsensical english text on Japanese Tshirts (and vice versa on Superdry), Mizu is a piece of graphic design critiquing this insensitivity.
