About this Artwork
The painting was inspired by the band Noah and the whale and particularly the song 'In five years time' which I was listening to as I painted. The original painting is in water colour and features a whale in a patterned wave and a sailing boat with red sails. I painted this whilst living by the sea, on the Scilly isles in England.
