The Pale Morning Dun Mayfly is a print from my original gouache-watercolor painting.
The Pale Morning Dun Mayfly is one of the most important hatches in the U.S. It has a long period over which the insect hatches, May through September, and it occurs in many, many western rivers. There are several species of Ephemerella that hatch at different times of the season, which is why this hatch can last so long. Dry fly sizes typically range from #14 to #18.
This is a great gift for the fly fisherman.
