My friends and I walked into the restaurant, right in the heart of downtown Oaxaca. It was an old house, with a huge central courtyard where all the tables were. The light coming covered everything with colors and shadows. A giant shredded paper (papel picado) filter covered the top of the enclosure. My attention was focused on this incredible mosaic over my head and on how caprocally played with the light.
