La famille Pengouin The Penguin family leave their home in the iceberg. These days everyone is talking about the climate change and the warming of the planet earth and the changing effect that it has on our daily lives. The Penguin family was just like everyone else and they too believed like all those around them that soon the sky would fall on their heads or in the penguin gossip language that the ice would melt from under their feet. In the beginning they and their friends had believed that all this climate warming was just some kind of political gadget or rumours put out by the humans to get some extra votes dans les or a financial manoeuvre to find a new way to take in some easy money but then they had begun to notice the brown patches in what was a white landscape. The first brown patches had been just a few centimetres in length but after a few months they were 10 times as big. Then they saw the first specks of green peeking out of those brown patches. There was a brief discussion between the adult penguin then without a word mama penguin asked papa penguin to drag out the large suitcase that was under the bed and filling it with their few belongings took baby penguin’s hand and with a firm resolution moved towards the door. Her answer to baby penguin’s tugging at her hand was we have to migrate before it is too late.
