But while she was playing among the trees, she got entangled in their branches. A wolf came to free her, and they spent the whole night telling stories, playing and entertaining each other. The Moon was waning from the wolf's mind, and in a gesture of selfishness, she stole her shadow to remember forever that night. Since then, the wolf has been screaming at the moon to beg her to restore her shadow".
