      About this Artwork

I knew the daily routine and all of its stops. I knew the color and texture of my coffee, just like it’s smell floating in the air of my apartment every morning. I measured it carefully every evening, it tasted how I wanted. I knew the sound of the train’s closing doors by heart. In the Reality Station, I was no longer lifting my head when I walked: I followed the crowd, absorbed by the daily newspaper. The world news wasn’t positive but my horoscope predicted a good day, so as I closed the news

      Toulon, France

Cyril is currently working in Southern France as clinical psychologist, but spends his free time producing surreal and fantasy digital art. Cyril characterizes his work as “otherworldly”, as his own intuition / philosophical perspectives of human life influence each piece. Many of his works feature lost children in search of “their truth” or animals who critique or play a human role. A great source of inspiration comes from artists such as Tim Burton and Hayao Miyazaki, who Cyril says “are both the roots of my own world”.
