About this Artwork
A quick painting between projects, this is my 20th painting in five weeks. Working in Procreate has tripled my painting speed. I am actually now painting to relax. This iris was at its peak in June and is a plein air painting completed at high noon exploring the flower at the Kneeland Walker-House in Wauwatosa Wisconsin show the deep green world of a spring garden.
