About this Artwork
There are many iconic images in video game history, but one of my personal favorites is the Power Suit from the original Metroid on NES from 1986. I love Mario, Link, and Donkey Kong, but the black sheep and lesser known of the four major Nintendo heroes is Samus Aran. And she is hands-down the coolest. One of the first female lead video game characters, empowering both female AND male kids all over the world, Samus was the original badass.
