Butcher Billy has changed the norm of comic books; he’s given life to a more daring, more sarcastic group superheroes and villains whose roles and personalities are notches above those of your favorite traditional comic stars. Batman falls in love and lights up a cigarette. Superman shows off his abs of steel. Wonder woman goes to rehab. And let’s not forget the Butcher’s take on “Real-Life Supervillains” which turns Stalin into a crazed hunter and Charles Manson into a clown. The Butcher, an experienced graphic designer and art director by day, invents his own world by night using very basic colors and a handful of graphic tricks to create a style that stand out from the rest. Currently working out of Brazil, the Butcher has many upcoming projects in mind, inspired from diverse sources, such as: old school zombies, British tabloid papers, Captain America, and of course, Katy Perry.
