Pastel Wonderlands

Toshihiro Mori is a graphic designer and illustrator based out of Tokyo, Japan. In 2009 he graduated from Osaka University of Art where he studied design. Today Toshihiro frequently exhibits his artworks in Osaka and Tokyo as well as in exhibitions across Europe’s capital cities. Each of Toshihiro’s creations begins from a hand-drawn illustration, which he later brings to life using various digital techniques to add color and finer details. His creativity ultimately leads him to imaginative worlds animated by cleverly-placed animals, people, and even monsters and dinosaurs. By creating multiple focal points within each artwork, Toshihiro captivates the viewer’s attention and leads them on a playful journey through each work’s hidden surprises. His unique style has been sought out by many, including the Japanese pop group MowMow LuLu Gyaban whose first album cover bears his designs. Toshihiro has also participated in competitions around the world, notably in the DC Comics 75th Art Competition in which he placed as a finalist. Toshihiro ultimately aims to share his view of the world through his artworks, all the while conveying a stylish yet human feel.
