About this Artwork
“The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up. His work is like that of a planter – for the future. His duty is to lay foundation of those who are to come and point the way.”
– NIKOLA TESLA – [in “Wired” 142 years after his death]
A generative design print series based on the ideas of the state of surpassing or going beyond limits; the being of a measure beyond sufficiency, necessity, or duty; that which exceeds what is usual or proper and finally being subject of a process of being gradually decomposed like all matter.
The objects balance on a fine line between sculptural architectural objects and fictional forms, between meaning and use and between the beautiful and the horrific. The illustrations were designed using processing and maya.
