About this Artwork
For the accurate scientific illustration of this graceful and colorful dragonfly, a lot of research was done in order to get all the minuscule details and the characteristical features of the specimen right. The typical bluish eyes are stunning as is the magnificent bright blue pruinescence on the abdomen, an effect that was quite a challenge to reproduce in the original artwork. ----NOTE : This Open Edition artwork comes with a standard 'Curioos' certificate.
