About this Artwork
Back in February 2015, I went to see one of my favorite progressive metal bands Periphery. They were doing a hometown show in Silverspring, MD. I took a lot of reference images of Misha Mansoor, one of the guitarists in the band.
I took my photo references and created sketches. I took the best sketch and transferred the image onto watercolor paper. I added 6 coats of watercolor and goache. I then scanned the image into photoshop where I made digital alterations and editing.
