    Guardian of people born in the Zodiac Year of the Sheep (born in 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, 2027) & Monkey (born in 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016, 2028). Dainichi Buddha sitting atop an ornate lotus. Dainichi is the central deity of Japan's Shingon Sect of Esoteric Buddhism, and the main object of veneration in Vajrayana (Tantric) Buddhism in Asia. In Japan, images of Dainichi appear most often in the Taizoukai (Womb World) and Kongoukai (Diamond World) Mandalas, which together depict the key devotional images of Esoteric Buddhism.
