My digital abstract compositions are based on work done with traditional materials from pre-computer days. Initially the digital artwork was directly related to my painting and drawing. Over time I have utilized some of the effects digitally available and have come to enjoy the speed of changes possible. Some of the work is now "unpaintable" due to the effects and detail the programs make possible. The compositions incorporate various geometric shapes and colors and patterns utilizing both flat and 3-D space in usually asymmetrical formats. I take the creative process very seriously but manage to have quite a bit of fun doing these.
