Miniature oilpainting on canvas from the eagle nebula. The small but nice oilpaintings from the stars. When I saw this little canvas in an art shop in Switzerland I wanted them. I bought them wondering what I could paint on this little canvas but not worrying about it. One day I remembered a lot of photos I had from galaxies, stars, nebulas etc. and I thought, I will try to paint some of the subjects on this little canvas. So they are great but also small!!! I also plan to paint some subjects from galaxies on big canvas later! It is fanscinating that we don't know everything about the sky, the galaxies and the space. It is growing but is it ending. An Idea I have when live is ending where our soul is going, that we develop to these little lights of energy in the space, so it will grow and grow and grow..... The size of the painting is 13x18x2 cm and the painting was finished on 05.02.2015. This miniature paintings has no frame because I could not find so little frames. Also this painting is painted and has the signature on the side.
