About this Artwork
This picture is a print from my original painting. The Hickman Natural Bridge is painted with gouache watercolor in the Photo-realism style. I took a photograph while I was up on a trail across from the arch in Capitol Reef, Utah, and used the small photo as a reference to paint the picture.
Hickman Bridge is one of the highlights of Capitol Reef National Park, a large natural arch in a scenic side canyon far above the Fremont River, surrounded by Navajo sandstone that characterize the park. This is a great gift for the hiker.
