I'm working on a series right now that I hope to finish within the next month. These are two of the seven part installments. I'm creating a series that illustrates the imagery behind Edgar Allan Poe's story: The Masque of the Red Death. In his story, Prince Prospero's attempts to avoid a dangerous plague, known as the Red Death, by hiding in his home. He, shelters his friends and holds a masquerade ball within seven rooms of his home. Death enters his home and travels through each room and catches up with Prince Prospero, killing him and everyone in attendance. Each room is colored and decorated with a different color. Each room has its own meaning. To some, each room represents the seven stages of life: birth, youth, adolescence, adulthood, old-age, imminent death, and death. To others, each room represents one of the Seven Deadly Sins: pride, wrath, greed, gluttony, lust, sloth, and envy. This room represents old-age and lust.
