Les Rapaces, que l'on a aussi appelés Oiseaux de proie, sont des Oiseaux carnassiers, qui habitent toute la Terre; on les rencontre sous toutes les latitudes, en plaine comme en montagne. Leur régime est carnivore et souvent aussi insectivore (chez les petites espèces). La montagne sans ses grands oiseaux nous semblerait bien vide.
