About this Artwork
I looked for another word for butterfly and found the German word Schmetterling, which I liked the feel of. The reasoning for the Schmetterling Soul, is that in ancient times in many cultures, the butterfly symbolised the human soul. In Egyptian times the butterfly symbolised the immortality of the human soul.
