      About this Artwork

"The Gathering" Another aspect finding its way into my artwork over the years is our own human view unlike the digital photos that we are used to nowadays. Our eyes focus on a point and everything else around it becomes our peripheral view; the further away from focus the more blurred we perceive it. "The Gathering" is one of those works that show a focal point emerging out of rough and raw shapes. Someone has called in a meeting and now those towering giants have come together to spread calm and comfort.
