The Yellowstone Cutthroat print is taken from my original watercolor-gouache painting.
The Yellowstone cutthroat trout is a freshwater fish in the salmon family. Native only to a few U.S. states, their original range was upstream of Shoshone Falls on the Snake River and tributaries in Wyoming, and in Yellowstone Lake and in the Yellowstone River.
Yellowstone Lake and the Yellowstone River together contain the largest inland population of cutthroat trout in the world.
