      About this Artwork

A pixie is hiding in the magical tree Once again taking a dip in the old memories of my childhood, I went back to that time when like all children I too would devour the stories of fairies and goblins hiding in the bushes and the tall grass in the garden and the surrounding woods. While there I would tiptoe with cautious silent steps, and I would play the detective hoping to discover what the adults had always denied the existence. Then came that fateful summer day when putting on my detective’s cap and a small twig which had taken place of a magnifying glass, I became the young Sherlock Holmes hunting for his suspicious culprit. There in a corner of the backyard and behind the tall grass surrounding the cherry tree, hidden in the shadows, I would be finally rewarded with the sight of the object of my diligent search.
