      About this Artwork

This composite started with masterpieces from the most popular artists in our history, all copyright free and in the public domain (I've been selling them for years on CafePress), were then adapted and had different dog breeds inserted from photos I received from my customers. From the top left and moving left to right: Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh shown with a Beagle, Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci with a Golden Retriever, Garden at Giverny by Claude Monet with a black and tan Dachshund, Terrace Cafe at Night by Vincent Van Gogh with a fawn Pug, Queen Elizabeth I by Nicholas Hilliard with a Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Whistler's Mothers by her son Jams Whistler with a Yellow Lab, Lily Pond Bridge by Claude Monet with a German Shepherd, Midsummer's Eve by Edward Robert Hughes with a light red Greyhound, and Birth of Venus by Sandro Bottecelli with a Chocolate Labrador. Note: Mona Lisa herself had an 8 hour digital makeover. All told, the digital work probably took me about 70 hours or so.
