This is a digital composition adapted from a public domain reference image. The image consists of a set of "digitally hand-drawn" concentric loops. After the first set was completed, the layer was duplicated and reflected diagonally. Between the two sets of loops, another layer screened out the bottom layer of loops, creating regions of single and double density that create the image of the skull. This image is intended to be printed at 9000x9000 pixels, 300dpi (about 30x30 inches).
