This is our cat Ruby when she was a little over one year old. She is now about three and a half. She is two things that are polar opposite: absolutely fearless and completely terrified. Ruby suffers from anxiety. She will jump up to any heights without fear and tear around the house but at times will freak out when other animals are outside, being excessively protective of our house. Sometimes I have to remind her that she is safe and put her high up in her perch where she curls up. Ruby is a wonderful cat. If you or anyone you know have an animal like this, let them know that they are loved and help them with this as best you can. There are ways to calm animals down that are helpful to them. Give them the love that they deserve.
